HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland • wore No. 2 for the Cougars and was coached by John Kelley • recorded seven interceptions and had 137 tackles during his junior and senior seasons • as a senior, recovered three fumbles and had nine tackles for loss • won one state championship and tea was 32-1 • named all-county and all-division First Team and earned honorable mention All-Met • played basketball from ninth to eleventh grade.
