The mission of the University's Compliance office is to maintain institutional control of Intercollegiate Athletics and protect the integrity of the University by fostering a strong culture of compliance through comprehensive educational programming, development of a service oriented proactive approach and a vigilant self-reporting system.
We are dedicated to enforcing adherence to the rules and regulations of the NCAA, the Big Ten Conference and the Western Collegiate Hockey Association by our student-athletes, coaches, administrators and supporters.

NAME, IMAGE, AND LIKENESS (NIL) - EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2021
As of July 1, 2021, student-athletes competing in NCAA intercollegiate athletics are permitted to receive compensation for the use of their name, image or likeness (NIL) for commercial activities. This can include endorsements through traditional and social media, appearances, entrepreneurial activities, in-kind deals, autographs and more, in accordance with NCAA guidelines.Minnesota NIL Information
