McCauley Off to NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships

CARLSBAD, Calif. – University of Minnesota senior Isabella McCauley is set to compete in the 2026 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships. The competition will take place at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., May 22-27. Live scoring can be found at https://z.umn.edu/bbja.
The championship format will include 30 teams and six individuals competing in 54 holes of stroke play. The top 15 teams along with the top nine individuals not on an advancing team will compete for one additional day of stroke play to determine the top eight teams for match play competition and the 72-hole stroke play individual champion. The top eight teams will then compete in match play for the team national championship to be decided May 27.
McCauley will tee off in the afternoon wave at 4:02 p.m. CT on Friday, followed by a 10:42 a.m. CT start on Saturday as part of the morning group of individuals.
Lineup:
McCauley will compete in the championship event for the third time in her four-year career and is coming off a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional.
The Field:
A total of 30 teams will battle for a national championship: Arkansas, Arizona State, Auburn, Baylor, Duke, Eastern Michigan, Florida, Florida State, Houston, Iowa State, Kentucky, LSU, Michigan State, Missouri, North Carolina, Northwestern, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Oregon State, Pepperdine, SMU, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, USC, Virginia, and Wake Forest.
McCauley will also go up against five other individuals: Thanana Kotchasanmanee (Princeton), Emma Bunch (New Mexico State), Johanna Sjursen (ULM), Sheridan Clancy (Indiana), and Kirstin Angosta (TCU).

The North Course at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa plays as a par-72 and is 6,373 yards in length for the championship event.
