Minnesota to Compete in Lady Paladin Invitational

MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota women's golf team is set to compete at the Lady Paladin Invitational September 18-20. The tournament will take place at the Furman University Golf Club in Greenville, S.C.
The Golden Gophers will be joined by 11 other programs for the three-day competition. The event will consist of 54 holes of stroke play; 18 holes per day. Play for rounds one and two will begin with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. CT Friday and Saturday. The third and final round is slated to begin at 7:00 a.m. CT Sunday. Lineup:
The Minnesota lineup will include sophomore Lauryn Finley, senior Luisamariana Mesones, freshman Rose Solberg, freshman Susanna Manns, and junior Reese McCauley. Freshman Regan Dusenbery will be competing as an individual.
The Field:
The Maroon and Gold will tee off against Augusta, Old Dominion, Georgia State, Florida Gulf Coast, Xavier, Daytona State, Samford, High Point, Furman, Alabama, and Rice.
The Course:
The Furman University Golf Course plays at par-72 and is 6,439 yards.
