Golden Gophers Continue Spring Season with Shootout at Wachesaw

Murrells Inlet, SC – The University of Minnesota women's golf team is set to compete in the Shootout at Wachesaw hosted by Purdue University. The event will take place at the Wachesaw Plantation Course on March 10.
The Golden Gophers will be joined by six other programs for the one-day competition featuring 36 holes of golf. Play will begin with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. CT on Tuesday. Live scoring can be found at https://z.umn.edu/b4d8.
Lineup:
The Maroon and Gold lineup will include senior Luisamariana Mesones, senior Isabella McCauley, senior Olivia Deakins, sophomore Reese McCauley, and freshman Lauryn Finley. Senior Madison Le will be competing as an individual.
The Field:
Minnesota will tee off against Augusta, Coastal Carolina, Iowa, South Carolina, Wisconsin, and the host Boilermakers of Purdue for the one-day event.

The Wachesaw Plantation Course plays as a par 72 and is 6,269 yards in length.
