Minnesota to Host Bell Bank “Pay it Forward” Collegiate

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – The University of Minnesota women's golf team is set to co-host the Bell Bank "Pay it Forward" Collegiate alongside St. Thomas. The event will take place at the Wigwam Golf Club March 23-24.
The Bell Bank "Pay it Forward" collegiate golf tournament is part of Bell Bank's Pay it Forward commitment. The winning team will receive $5,000 and the individual winner $1,000 to donate to a charity of their choice. This tournament provides collegiate golfers a chance to compete on one of the Top 100 Golf Courses in America.
The Golden Gophers will be joined by thirteen other programs for the two-day competition. Play will begin for rounds one and two with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. CT on Monday. The third and final round will tee off at 9:00 a.m. CT Tuesday morning. Live scoring can be found at https://z.umn.edu/b5v3.
Lineup:
The veteran Minnesota lineup will include junior Luisamariana Mesones, senior Isabella McCauley, senior Olivia Deakins, sophomore Reese McCauley, and senior Madison Le. Freshman Lauryn Finley will be competing individually.
The Field:
The Maroon and Gold will tee off against St. Thomas, Western Michigan, Omaha, Creighton, Florida Gulf Coast, Middle Tennessee State, Montana State, South Florida, Utah Tech, North Dakota State, Grand Canyon, North Dakota, and California Irvine.
The Course:
The Wigwam Golf Course plays as a par 71 and is 6,373 yards in length.
