‘U’ Announces 2026-27 Women’s Golf Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS – The University of Minnesota women's golf team officially announced its 2026-27 schedule Thursday. The Golden Gophers will compete in twelve tournaments this season, including one home event.
The Maroon and Gold will begin its fall campaign at the ANNIKA Invitational presented by 3M. The home event will be played at the Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minn., Sept. 7-9.
After wrapping up at the ANNIKA Invitational, the Gophers will travel to Greenville, S.C., to compete in the Lady Paladin Invitational hosted by Furman. The event will tee off at the Furman Golf Club Sept. 18-20.
Next on the schedule, the team will compete in the Blessings Collegiate Invitational presented by Arkansas. The event will take place at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark., Oct. 3-5.
Minnesota will return to the Illini Women's Invitational at Medinah Country Club Oct. 12-13 in Medinah, Ill. Illinois will serve as the host institution for this competition that closes the fall portion of the schedule.
The Gophers will open their spring campaign with a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, for the Dominican Republic Classic. Hosted by Purdue, the three-day tournament will take place Jan. 31-Feb. 2 at the Cocotal Golf and Country Club.
Three weeks later, the Maroon and Gold will head west to Peoria, Ariz., to compete in the Westbrook Invitational. The tournament, organized by Big Ten rival Wisconsin, will be played Feb. 21–22 at Vistas Course at Westbrook Village Golf Course.
In March, the team will travel to Forest Hills Golf Course in Augusta, Ga., for the Valspar Invitational. The two-day event from Mar. 13-14 will be presented by Augusta University.
Later in the month, Minnesota will return west to Litchfield Park, Ariz., for the Bell Bank "Pay it Forward" Collegiate. This tournament will be co-hosted by the Gophers and St. Thomas at the blue course at Wigwam Golf Club Mar. 22-23.
One month later, the Maroon and Gold will head to West Lafayette, Ind., for the Boilermaker Spring Classic organized by Purdue. The event will tee off at the Ackerman-Allen Golf Course Apr. 11-12.
Just over a week later, the Gophers will travel east to Farmington, Pa., for the 2027 Big Ten Conference Championship to tee off the postseason. Hosted by the Nemacolin Resort, the championship will take place Apr. 23-25.
