Gophers Return to Wisconsin for Marquette Intercollegiate

HARTFORD, Wis. - The University of Minnesota men's golf team travels to Hartford, Wis., to participate in the Marquette Intercollegiate. This is the second tournament in Wisconsin for the Gophers this season, after the last in Madison for the Badger Invitational two weeks ago. The first round will be played on Sunday, the second round on Monday, and the final round on Tuesday. All rounds will begin at 9.00 a.m.
Sophomore Chun-Ta Wu looks to pick up where he left off last week in Lake Forest, Ill., shooting 2-under-par with 10 birdies throughout 54 holes of golf.

The Field:
Fourteen teams will compete over the next three days. Minnesota, Rutgers, and Wisconsin are the only B1G teams participating in the tournament. Other teams include Chattanooga, Clemson, Florida, Marquette, Nevada, Oral Roberts, San Diego State, Siena, Texas A&M, UAB, and UC Davis.
Gophers' Lineup:
Sophomores Jack Crousore and Chun-Ta Wu, freshmen Joe Honsa and Torger Ohe, and senior Jack Wetzel will compete in team competition over the next three days. Senior Cormac Sharpe will participate as an individual.
The Course:
The Marquette Intercollegiate will take place at Erin Hills Golf Course. This course opened in 2006 and has hosted various prestigious events, including the 2025 U.S. Women's Open Championship, 2017 U.S. Open, and the 2011 U.S. Amateur Championship. The course scores at a par-72 while covering 7,551 yards.
