Gophers' Trio Named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars

NORMAN, Okla. - Minnesota men's golfers Jack Crousore, Jack Wetzel, and Chun-Ta Wu garnered Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) for the 2025-26 season. A total of 649 NCAA Division I student-athletes from 210 men's golf programs were recognized by the GCAA on Monday.
Wetzel, a senior, earned the honor for the second consecutive year after posting a 72.4 scoring average in his final collegiate campaign. Wu, a sophomore, recorded a team-best 70.7 scoring average, while fellow sophomore Crousore finished the season with a 71.2 scoring average. The recognition marks the first Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honor for both Wu and Crousore.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar recognition, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior, or senior academically and athletically. Nominees must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, maintain a stroke average below 76.0 in NCAA Division I competition, and carry a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2.
In addition to meeting the academic and athletic criteria, recipients must demonstrate high moral character and remain in good standing with their college or university.
