COLUMBUS, Ohio. - Minnesota's Chun-Ta Wu finished the final round of the NCAA Columbus Regional Wednesday from the Ohio State University Golf Club.
Wu concluded the three-day event with an overall score of 15-over-par (228), including a third-round score of 3-over-par (74). He gathered a birdie on the eighth hole, ending the tournament with a total of five.
The sophomore placed in a tie for 51st place among the field. He tied for fifth place among all competing individuals.
No. 2 Florida finished first in team competition, shooting even par across the 54-hole event. Luke Poulter of Florida shot even par to earn a first-place finish among all golfers. Among the 10 individuals participating, Ashton McCulloch of Michigan State carded the best mark of 10-over-par (223).
