Competed in three meets for the Gophers • ran a personal record for a six-kilometer course in his Gophers debut at the Oz Memorial, clocking a 19:30.8 to finish 12th overall • finished 50th at the Griak Invitational with a time of 26:03.9 • closed out the season with a new personal record for an eight-kilometer race, running 25:28.0 at the Pre-National Meet to finish 265th.

2014 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Redshirted the 2014 season and competed in three events as an unattached runner • opened the year with a 19:48.9 at the Oz Memorial, finishing 15th in the six-kilometer race • finished 139th in the Griak Invitational, running unattached with a time of 26:57.0 • ran unattached at the Fall Finale and finished third overall with a time of 25:38.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2014 graduate of Bemidji High School • an honors student as a prep • the 2014 Senior Lumberjack Male Athlete of the Year • a five-time all-state honoree (Track: 2012-14. Cross Country: 2012-13) • a two-time captain for the cross country squad and a two-time team MVP • also earned MVP distinction for the Bemidji track and field program • holds Bemidji High School records for the 800 meters (1:54), the 1,600 meters (4:15), the 5,000 meters (15:47) and the 4x800 relay • earned a total of 18 letters at Bemidji (four in cross country, four in track, two in National Honor Society, two in jazz band, three in concert band and three academic letters • also played hockey for nine years including three years in high school.
