AFTER COLLEGE: Posted a lifetime best 8:16.59 in the 3000m steeplechase during his first season as a professional with Under Armour Mission Run Dark Sky... Was second at the 2024 US Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore., earning a spot on Team USA for the 2024 Olympics in Paris (pending world ranking qualification)... Won the 2024 Virginia Challenge steeplechase in a time of 8:18.53... Won the preliminary round of the US Olympic Trials with a time of 8:20.61 in Eugene, Ore., at Hayward Field.
2023 Outdoor Track & Field • Grad Season: Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 3000m steeplechase for the second year in a row with a time of 8:26.33... Won Big Ten titles in both the 3000m steeplechase and the 5000m at the 2023 Big Ten Outdoor Championships... Was named the 2023 Big Ten Athlete of the Championships... Was the first Big Ten student-athlete to compete the steeplechase/5K double since Mason Ferlic from Michigan in 2016... Was the Big Ten runner-up in the 3000m steeplechase behind teammate Alec Basten, clocking a time of 8:46.39... Won the NCAA West Regional in Fayetteville, Ark., in a time of 8:32.61 to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in his first year at the Division I level... Qualified for the 3000m steeplechase NCAA final with an 8th-place finish in the semifinal in Eugene in a time of 8:30.52... Posted the No. 2 time in school history in the steeplechase in the NCAA final, finishing 8th in a time of 8:25.03... Won the Raleigh Relays in the steeplechase in a time of 8:39.70... 2021 Cross Country • Senior Season: Named a USTFCCCA All-Region honoree • placed top-three on the team in all six of his races • posted the 10th fastest 10K time in school history (29:56.8) at the NCAA Championships to finish 72nd overall and second on the team, while simultaneously logging the school’s 15th fastest 8K time with a split of 23:47.8 • claimed a USTFCCCA All-Region honor with a 25th place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships, crossing the line in 30:57.6 • placed 15th overall and second on the team in his Big Ten Championship debut, finishing in 25:16.8 • finished 83rd overall and second on the team in the men’s championship 8k race at the Nuttycombe Invitational • came in 20th overall and third for the Gophers at the Roy Griak Invitational • opened the season with a 15th place finish at the Spiked Shoe Invite.
