Minnesota's 2025 Cross Country Schedule Released

MINNEAPOLIS -- The University of Minnesota men's and women's cross country programs have announced its 2025 fall competition schedule. The season, which runs from August 29 to November 22, includes three home events, one of which is the 39th Annual Roy Griak Invitational on September 19.
Both programs will begin the season on Friday, August 29, when the Gophers host the Oz Memorial. From there, Minnesota will enjoy three full weeks before its next competition, the Roy Griak Invitational. Two weeks later, on October 3, both the men and women will compete between the Loyola Lakefront Invitational in Chicago as well as the UW-Eau Claire Invitational.
The weekend of October 17-18 Minnesota will have the women at the Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wis., while the men's team will compete at the Pre-NCAAs competition at Missouri. Then Rocky's Run will wrap up the regular season at home for Minnesota on Friday, October 24.
The 2025 Big Ten Cross Country Championships will be held at Michigan State on October 31. Minnesota begins NCAA competition on November 14, at the NCAA Midwest Regional and follows that up with the NCAA Championships on November 22. The regional will be held on the campus of Oklahoma State while the championship is hosted by Missouri.
