Crousore’s 69 Leads ‘U’ in Final Round of Gopher Invitational

INDEPENDENCE, Minn. – The University of Minnesota men's golf team finished out the 2026 2nd Swing Gopher Invitational on Monday at Windsong Farm Golf Club, finishing tied for 11th place.
The Golden Gophers posted a final-round score of 299 (+15) to conclude the 54-hole event at 884 (+32).
Georgia captured the team title at 9-under-par, while Oklahoma finished second at 3-under. Oklahoma's Ryder Cowan earned medalist honors after finishing the tournament at 13-under-par.
Jack Crousore paced Minnesota throughout the weekend, carding a final-round 69 (-2) to finish the tournament at 2-under-par. The junior's round included an eagle on the par-4 third hole and helped him finish as the top Gopher in the field in a tie for sixth place.
Notable Performances
Joe Honsa finished the tournament at 9-over-par after posting a final-round 76 (+5).
Torger Ohe closed the event at 17-over-par following a 76 (+5) in the final round.
Chun-Ta Wu finished at 16-over-par after carding a 78 (+7) Monday.
Martin Shone concluded play at 15-over-par with a final-round 80 (+9) to complete his first event with the Maroon and Gold.
Competing as individuals, Finlay Galloway finished at 8-over-par after shooting 76 (+5) in the final round. Landon Houska closed at 20-over-par with a 75 (+4) Monday, while Ryan Stendahl finished at 20-over-par and Kyler Schwamb concluded the tournament at 29-over-par.
