‘U’ Concludes Day Two of Big Ten Championships in Ninth Place

NORTH PLAINS, Ore. - The Minnesota men's golf team sits in ninth place after the first 36 holes of the 2026 Big Ten Conference Championships.
The Golden Gophers finished with an overall score of 13-over-par, including a second-round score of 8-over-par (288).
UCLA sits in first place with a score of 10-under-par. Josh Kim of UCLA is the leader among the field with a score of 7-under-par.
Notable Performances:
Sophomore Jack Crousore led the Maroon and Gold with a score of 1-under-par, including his team-best, second-round score of 2-under-par (68), gathering five birdies. He is tied for seventh place among all golfers.
Sophomore Chun-Ta Wu registered a second-round score of 2-over-par (72) with two birdies. He has an overall score of 1-over-par, tying for 12th overall.
Torger Ohe carded a score of 4-over-par (74) with four birdies Saturday afternoon, increasing his total to seven through 36 holes of golf. The freshman has a total score of 6-over-par, tying for 51st place.
Freshman Joe Honsa is tied for 59th place, penciling a second-round score of 4-over-par (74) with two birdies. He has recorded an overall score of 7-over-par.
