MINNEAPOLIS -- The No. 13 University of Minnesota (21-6, 7-2 B1G) women's gymnastics team will compete at the Corvallis Regional, which will take place April 2-5, 2026. Minnesota will be partaking in its 45th NCAA Regional in the program's 52-year existence in 2026. The 'U' has been to 30 straight regionals and this will be the 11th in head coach Jenny Hansen's 12-year tenure (no postseason in 2020 due to COVID).

The Corvallis Regional will be hosted by Oregon State University and is one of four regional meets held nationally. Competition will take place at Gill Coliseum. The Gophers received the No. 13 overall seed and they will compete on Friday, April 3 at 9 p.m. CT/7 p.m. PST in the regional semifinals against No. 4 UCLA, No. 19 Iowa and the winner of the play-in matchup between Washington and San Jose State.

On the other side of the regional bracket is No. 5 Alabama, No. 12 Utah, No. 23 Denver and No. 25 Oregon State. The top two scores from each session will advance to the Regional Finals, which will take place on Sunday, April 5 at 9 p.m. PST/7 p.m. CT. All three meets will be streamed on ESPN+.

The top two teams from the Regional Final will advance to the NCAA Championships April 16-18 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. In addition to the Corvallis Regional, the three other host sites are Lexington (Kentucky), Baton Rouge (LSU) and Tempe (Arizona State). Oklahoma earned the No. 1 overall seed while LSU is 2 and Florida is No. 3.

The Gophers are coming off a third place finish at the 2026 Big Ten Championships with a score of 196.900. UCLA took home its second straight Big Ten title since joining the league in 2025.

Ostrum was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year, the Gophers fourth-ever winner of the award. She also earned Big Ten All-Freshman Team honors and First Team All-Big Ten.

Juniors Jordyn Lyden and Emma Slevin earned shares of the Big Ten Uneven Bars title on Saturday with scores of 9.950. Lyden, a Stillwater, Minn., native, was named First Team All-Big Ten.
