MINNEAPOLIS -- The 2024-25 WGCA All-American Scholar Team was released Monday with 1,499 women's collegiate golfers from 403 programs recognized with this prestigious honor. Representing the Maroon and Gold on the list were senior Ruby Chi and junior Isabella McCauley.
"I am very proud of our two honorees for their leadership both on and off the course," said head coach Matt Higgins. "Being recognized for their academic achievements is a great honor and reflects their hard work and dedication in the classroom!"
Chi earns the honor for the first time in her career, and McCauley for the third.
To be eligible, the student-athlete must excel in both the classroom and on the golf course. The criteria for each nominee include a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or greater as well as participation in 50% of the team's competitive rounds.
