Last Chance Meet: won the 1650 free in 16:24.78... Big Tens: came in ninth in the 400 IM (4:12.51), 13th in the 500 free (4:41.82) and 16th in the 1650 free (16:31.80)... Purdue/Iowa/Northwestern Quad-Dual: captured second place in the 1000 free (9:57.99), sixth in the 400 IM (4:21.81) and 15th in the 200 free (1:54.43)... Pitt Dual: won both the 1000 free (10:04.92) and the 500 free (4:57.23)... Tampa Dual: won the 1000 free (10:09.75) and placed second in the 400 IM (4:29.93) and sixth in the 200 breast (2:33.21)... High School: Attended Edina High School • 2021 & 2024 Olympic trials qualifier • Minnesota High School State Champion in the 200 Free, 200 IM and two-times in the 500 Free • three-time MSHSCA Class AA Female Athlete of the Year • 2022 Star Tribune Metro Swimmer of the Year • Minnesota Swimming State record holder in the 1000 free, 1650 free and 400 IM.

Personal: Daughter of Julie and Pete McCarthy • sister, Kelli, swam at the U from 2018-22 • brother, Tommy, is currently on the men's swim team • has another sister, Libbi • hobbies include surfing and cooking.

Why Minnesota? I chose the University of Minnesota because of the amazing coaches, team atmosphere, and academics.
