Career Notes
2023-24 Freshman Season: Big Tens: set personal bests in two events, finished 17th in the 100 breast (1:01.67), 28th in the 200 breast (2:19.08) and was part of the 200 medley relay team that placed sixth with a season-best time of 1:38.06... First Chance Meet: finished second in the 100 free (52.50)... Purdue/Iowa/Northwestern Quad-Dual: captured sixth in the 100 breast (1:02.75) and eighth in the 200 breast (2:20.09)... Pitt Dual: got sixth in the 100 breast (1:06.00) and eighth in the 200 breast (2:24.51)... Tampa Dual: won the 100 breast (1:06.17) and got third in the 200 breast (2:24.32)... Minnesota Invite: placed 16th in the 100 breast (1:02.88) and 18th in the 200 breast (2:19.30)... Wisconsin Dual: captured fifth in the 100 breast (1:05.66) and eighth in the 200 breast (2:25.97)... St. Thomas/South Dakota State Tri-Dual: finished second in the 200 breast (2:23.92) and fourth in the 50 free (24.80)... SMU Dual: placed second in the 100 breast (1:04.57) and third in the 200 breast (2:23.28) and also swam the 50 free (24.96)... Nebraska/South Dakota Tri-Dual: made her collegiate debut with a fourth-place finish in the 100 breast (1:05.78) and sixth-place finish in the 200 breast (2:24.91)
High School: Attended Franklin High School · broke four school records and was named team MVP · set the EBSC-Wisconsin swimming relay record in 2020 · four-year academic high honor roll.
Personal: Daughter of Ryan and Nicole Goodno · father, Ryan, and mother, Nicole, both were dual sport athletes at UW-La Crosse · has one younger brother, Braylon, who is a member of the Minnesota men's swim and dive team · hobbies include wake surfing and boating, walking with her dogs and napping.
Why Minnesota? The team felt like family, everyone was very welcoming and it felt like the right place. The academics are great as well and the campus is beautiful.
