Bio
2024-25 | FRESHMAN
• Competed once during her first season with the Gophers
• Made her collegiate debut at the Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 5), helping the 3V8 to third place in the season opener
PERSONAL
• Daughter of Aaron and Sara Sprang
• Has a younger sister, Amanda
• Graduated cum laude from McFarland High School in 2024
• Competed on the cross country and track and field teams with the Spartans
• Earned four All-Rock Valley Conference track and field honors, while helping the team win a sectional championship in 2023
• Named to the all-conference cross country team twice in her prep career
• Was a member of the National Honor Society as a junior and senior
• Part of the Camp Randall Rowing Club for one year
• Spent 12 years with the McFarland Spartan Sharks Swim Team
• Received a Certified Nurse Assistant certificate and worked as a CNA for two years
• Enjoys being outdoors, especially paddleboarding, and hanging out with her dog, Maggie
• Chose to attend the University of Minnesota because "of the supportive yet competitive atmosphere. Both the athletes and coaching staff made it feel like something bigger than athletics. Also, I loved how many opportunities were presented within athletics, the beautiful campus setting, and how close it is to home."
