2024-25 | SOPHOMORE
Big Ten Boat of the Week (First Varsity Four - April 15)
Academic All-Big Ten
• Competed in all four regattas with the 1V4 crew during the spring portion of the schedule in her second season
• Closed the year by placing fifth at the Big Ten Conference Championships Grand Finals (May 18), the highest result for the Gophers at the event, after placing third in the heats
• Turned in a second-place performance on the 1V4 boat to end the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 19)
• Picked up a race victory during the opening day of the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 18) following a third-place result to begin the regatta
• Won twice at the Big 12/Big Ten Double Duel (Apr. 11-12) on the 1V4 crew to earn Big Ten Conference Boat of the Week honors
• Defeated both San Diego and the host Jayhawks of Kansas while in Kansas City, Kan.
• Started her year by placing third on day one at the Rocky Top Invitational (Apr. 4-5) before adding a second-place effort on the final day
• Earned second varsity letter
2023-24 | FRESHMAN
• Raced in all eight regattas with the Gophers' varsity team in her first year on campus
• Closed the season finishing eighth at the Big Ten Championship (May 19) with the 1V4 crew
• Competed in all three races on the 1V4 at the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 19-20), finishing third on Friday before placing fifth and fourth on Saturday
• Defeated both Kansas and Kansas State in duals with the 1V4 at the Big 12/Big Ten Double Dual (Apr. 12-13)
• Finished second in a pair of road duals at No. 12 Ohio State (Apr. 6) and No. 16 Tennessee (Mar. 29) as part of the 1V4 boat
• Opened the spring schedule with a dual victory over Gonzaga (Mar. 10) on the 2V4 crew from Chula Vista, Calif.
• Placed 21st as part of the 3V8 during Virginia's Rivanna Romp (Nov. 12)
• Made her collegiate debut at the Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 7), helping the freshman eight boat to a season-opening race win
• Earned first varsity letter

• Daughter of Glen and Sandra Franke
• Has an older brother, Alex, and a younger sister, Natalie
• Competed with Thunder Rowing Club from 2018-23 as well as Crofton House Rowing in 2018 and 2022
• Was a silver medalist in the 2x at the U19 Canadian Secondary Schools Rowing Association Nationals in 2022
• Also won a 2- bronze medal at 2022 U19 CSSRA Nationals
• Graduated from Crofton House School in 2023
• Played on the Falcons varsity track and field team, throwing shot put and discus, and also played varsity basketball
• Given the Most Inspirational Athlete Award in 2019
• Selected as an All-Rounder Award recipient in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2023
• Won the Wallinger Cup in 2023
• Earned first class honors with distinction five times during her prep career
