2024-25 | SOPHOMORE
Academic All-Big Ten
• Raced in five regattas for the Gophers during her second season
• Capped the campaign by winning the 3V4 Petite Finals at the Big Ten Conference Championships (May 18) after finishing fourth in the opening-day heats (May 17)
• Competed three times with the 2V4 crew at the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 18-19) with fourth and third-place performances on Friday, followed by a fourth-place finish in Saturday's final session
• Secured 2V4 race victories over San Diego and Kansas on consecutive days at the Big 12/Big Ten Double Duel (Apr. 11-12)
• Finished 12th in the Varsity Eights race as part of the 3V8 boat during the final regatta of the fall at Virginia's Rivanna Romp (Nov. 10)
• Placed third with the 4V4 crew at the season-opening Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 5)
2023-24 | FRESHMAN
• Raced in six regattas on the novice squad during her first season with the Gophers
• Recorded three-consecutive dual victories as part of the 1N8 crew from Apr. 6-13
• Helped the 1N8 boat to a third-place finish at the Big Ten Championship (May 19), the Gophers' first medal since 2018
• Competed in all three races with the 1N8 at the Big Ten Invitational in Sarasota, Fla., placing third and second Friday (Apr. 19) before a third-place finish Saturday (Apr. 20)
• Claimed two victories for the 1N8 crew at the Big 12/Big Ten Double Dual (Apr. 12) in races versus Kansas and Kansas State
• Won a road dual over No. 12 Ohio State (Apr. 6) with the 1N8 boat
• Raced in an exhibition during a dual against Gonzaga (Mar. 10) to begin the spring in Chula Vista, Calif.
• Made her collegiate debut at the season-opening Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 7), finishing second on the 1N8 crew

• Daughter of Greg Northrop and Larissa Kiel
• Has a younger brother, Arlo
• Father, Greg, played college basketball at Macalester
• Graduated in the top 10 percent of her Central High School class in 2023
• Participated in softball, soccer, and basketball during her prep career
• Earned St. Paul City All-Conference honors in basketball during the 2022 and 2023 seasons
• Served as a team captain for the Minutemen basketball team
• Won the 2023-24 Schulze Family Foundation College Scholarship
• Enjoys cooking in her spare time
• Chose to attend the University of Minnesota "for its amazing research opportunities and its unique community. The University of Minnesota feels like home to me."
