2025 Outdoor Track & Field • Redshirt Sophomore Season: Earned a spot on the Academic All-Big Ten team... Named one of Minnesota's 35 Big Ten Distinguished Scholars, a distinction given to student-athletes who maintained a 4.0 GPA during the 2024-25 academic year... Posted two lifetime best performances in her five outdoor meets... Put down a 10:51.70 at the Bryan Clay Invitational in the 3000m steeplechase to finish 68th overall... Was third at the Bethel Invitational 1500m in a time of 4:40.63... Opened the outdoor campaign with a 11:05.65 in the steeplechase at the Hamline Invitational... Also ran at the Gary Wilson Invitational (10:58.82) and Hamline's Meet of the UnSaintly (11:08.40) in the steeplechase.
2025 Indoor Track & Field • Redshirt Sophomore Season: Raced to the finish line at three different indoor meets... Was third in the mile at the Jack Johnson Classic in a time of 5:09.58... Ran indoor lifetime bests in the Mile (5:09.52) and the 3000m (10:11.71).
2024 Cross Country • Redshirt Sophomore Season: Named to the Academic All-Big Ten team... Appeared in five different cross country races during the season... Opened with a 5K lifetime best at the Oz Memorial (20:24.3) and added a second lifetime best later in the season at the 6K distance at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational (22:51.3)... Also ran at the Roy Griak Invitational and the Drews/Neubauer Invitational.
2024 Outdoor Track & Field • Redshirt Freshman Season: Was named to the Academic All-Big Ten team... Opened up her outdoor career with a 3000m steeplechase competition at Texas A&M at the 44 Farms Team Invitational, finished third in a time of 11:00.18... Competed in the steeplechase an additional two times, once at the Gary Wilson Invitational (11:02.80) and also at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships (11:26.39) where she was 16th... Ran at the Bethel Invitational and the Holst Invitational.
2024 Indoor Track & Field • Redshirt Freshman Season: Competed in three meets for the Maroon and Gold during the indoor season... Helped win the 4x400m relay at the M City Indoor Classic, where she also finished third in the 1000m (3:09.54)... Was second at the Gopher Classic in the 3000m in a season-best time of 10:30.65... Also ran one 800m race at the Jack Johnson Classic.
2023 Cross Country • Redshirt Freshman Season: Represented the Golden Gophers at four meets during the cross country campaign... Opened her first official season with Minnesota at the Oz Memorial... Finished 39th overall at the Eau Claire Invite (6K) in a time of 23:44.0... Was named to the Academic All-Big Ten team.

Participated in two 1500m and two 3000m Steeplechase events throughout the season… Competed for a third-place time of 4:51.07 at the Janis Rider/Doug Bolstorff Invitational and an eleventh-place time of 4:50.30 at the St. Thomas Tomcat Invitational during the 1500m races… Placed third for a time of 11:06.44 in the 3000m steeplechase at the Running on Hope Invitational… Finished fifth at the Bethel Invitational during the 3000m steeplechase with the time 11:30.74

HIGH SCHOOL: One of Minnesota's North Dakota signees Anna Lien was a state champion in the 1600m this past season, improving her time by 10 seconds from the previous season to win the title... She also had back-to-back top five finishes at the state meet in the 800m with a personal best time of 2:16.05... She also has a 5K cross country time of 18:27 in her prep career... Was an All-State honoree from 2017-2020 and was All-State in track in 2022... Helped her team win the Eastern Dakota Conference... Was named the Outstanding Senior Athlete in her high school in 2022... Was named the team MVP in cross country from 2017-20... Was the team MVP in track from 2018-22... Coached by Mark Landman, Aaron Walker and Keith Lehman... Was a member of the National Honor Society... Graduated with honors and was a member of the honor roll four times... Was an All-Conference performer in cross country for five straight years and twice in track and field...
