HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Rocori High School in Cold Spring, Minnesota • wore no. 78 for the Spartans and was coached by Greg Enz • as a senior, served as a team captain and was named All-District, All-section, All-State and was the Section Offensive Lineman of the Year • helped lead team to a section runner-up finish in 2025 and a state runner-up finish in 2023 • ESPN and On3 ranked him as a four-star prospect • 247Sports listed him as the No. 3 recruit in Minnesota and On3 tabbed him as the No. 30 offensive tackle in the nation • also competed in track and field.

PERSONAL: Son of Bill and Teresa Trout • has two sisters (Ashley and Amanda).
