2012 JUNIOR SEASON:
Academic All-American Big Ten Conference Distinguished Scholar Athlete Academic All-Big Ten selection holds one of the top grade point averages in the Gopher student-athlete body batted .304 and played in 42 games with 37 starts scored 22 runs, 42 hits and 50 total bases in 138 at bats held the leadoff spot in 21 games walked 13 times and tied a team-high eight stolen bases had 14 multiple-hit games and a nine-game hit streak went 2-4 with a run scored in the 7-1 win over Stony Brook (3/10) began his nine-game hit streak against the Seawolves when he went 1-3 with a run scored (3/11) was 3-5 with two doubles and two runs scored in the Kansas State loss (3/13) went 6-10 in the series win over Cal Poly (3/17-19) also scored five runs in that span ended his streak March 24, but followed with a 3-4 day against The Citadel (3/25) and scored two runs had a season-best three RBI and went 2-3 in the 9-3 win against South Dakota State (3/28) opened the Big Ten Conference season with a 2-4 night and two runs scored against Michigan (3/30) suffered an ankle injury against Ohio State (4/7), which sidelined him for three weeks returned to the Gopher lineup vs. Iowa (4/27) first game back as a starter, went 2-5 vs. the Hawkeyes had a double and went 2-5 in the St. Thomas win (5/1) scored three runs during the Nebraska series (5/11-13).
2011 SOPHOMORE SEASON:
Big Ten Conference Distinguished Scholar Athlete Academic All-Big Ten selection played in 49 games, including 29 starts in center and left field batted .250 with 19 runs, 17 RBI, two triples and four stolen bases batted .310 in Big Ten Conference play with nine runs and nine RBI held an eight-game hitting streak and six multiple-RBI games fifth on the team in runs scored (19) earned his first hit and run of the season in the 7-1 win over Delaware State (2/27) went 1-2 with a walk, two runs, an RBI and a stolen base in the 8-1 win over Gonzaga on March 11 had two RBI, a run and a sacrifice fly in the 9-4 win over Cal-Poly added his first double of the season and went 2-4 against Northwestern (4/17) vs. Northwestern, started an eight-game hit streak in which he had 13 hits and six RBI went 1-3 with a walk in the 3-2 win against Indiana on April 23 had five hits and three RBI in the Indiana series (4/23-24) hit a triple for the Gophers[apos] lone hit in the 1-0 win over Iowa on April 29 went 2-5 with two runs and a sacrifice fly in the 5-4 win (12 innings) over Iowa on April 30 had two RBI and went 2-5 in the 11-10 win against Michigan on May 7 pinch hit in the May 19 game against Ohio State and delivered an RBi single and a 3-2 win went 1-4 with a walk and a run and RBI in the 8-2 Penn State win during the Big Ten Tournament had a triple and went 2-4 with two runs in the 9-4 Ohio State win in the Big Ten Tournament (5/27).
2010 FRESHMAN SEASON:
Big Ten Conference Distinguished Scholar Athlete Batted .280 with 39 runs, eight stolen bases, 17 RBI and one home run made his first collegiate appearance on Feb. 19 against Akron, going 1-for-1 with a pinch-hit single in his first career at-bat went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored against Harvard on March 12 went a career-best 4-for-6 with one RBI, three runs scored and a double against Purdue April 3 went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double, two RBI, and two runs scored against Hamline on April 6 was 2-for-4 with two RBI against Michigan State on April 11 went 3-for-5 with one run scored against South Dakota State on April 14 was 1-for-3 with two RBI, two runs scored and his first career home run against Iowa on May 1 went 2-for-5 with two RBI and two runs against Iowa in the Big Ten Tournament Championship on May 29.
2009:
Redshirted the 2009 season.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Graduated from Hill-Murray High School coached by Tom Quinlan and Bill Lechner named All-State and All-Metro as a senior in 2008 received All-Conference honors in 2007 and 2008 led team to a Section Championship in 2007, and a State Tournament appearance that year batted .427 with 17 runs and 12 RBI in the regular-season of his senior year.
PERSONAL:
Majoring in genetics, cell biology & development biological science son of Dale and Faye Larson lists winning Section Final his junior season and advancing to the State Tournament as his biggest sports thrill likes to play ping-pong and tennis in his spare time born on July 15, 1990.
