2025 | FRESHMAN appeared in 42 games making 37 starts during his freshman campaign · slashed .213/.402/.349 with two doubles, seven home runs, and 20 RBIs · Game Highlights: collected three RBIs versus Oregon State (2/23), and recorded two hits at Michigan State (5/17).
BEFORE MINNESOTA: Martin comes to the Gophers as the No. 8-ranked shortstop in Illinois and the No. 49 overall player by Perfect Game · he was named a Perfect Game Preseason Underclassmen All-American in both 2022 and 2023 · in 2022, he slashed .320/.416/.515 with 33 hits and 30 RBIs · he also competed with Top Tier Baseball during the summer of 2022 where he collected 25 hits, a .291 average and .373 OBP · spring of 2023 Martin hit .385 with three home runs and 25 stolen bases.
