Academic All-Big Ten ? batted .265 with 10 runs, 27 hits, three doubles, two triples and 18 RBI ? played in 39 games, including 23 starts ? of his starts, 11 came at first base, while 12 were as the designated hitter ? tied for third in RBI with 18 ? batted .293 against Big Ten Conference foes with six runs and 11 RBI ? in his first collegiate start, went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a triple in the 3-1 win over Sacramento State (3/16) ? went 1-for-3 in the 9-4 win over Cal Poly (3/27) ? led the Gophers to a Big Ten opener win over Purdue (4/1) when he reached base twice and was 1-for-2 with a double and a career-high four RBI ? went 2-for-3 with two RBI against Michigan State (4/8) ? was 3-for-4 with two RBI in the loss to Michigan State (4/10) ? added his second double of the season and went 2-for-5 with an RBI and run in the April 23, 3-2 win over Indiana ? went 3-for-5 against Michigan (5/7) with three runs and an RBI ? was 2-for-2 against North Dakota State (5/17) and had 2 RBI in the 8-5 win ? hit his first collegiate triple in the May 19 game against Ohio State ? also went 2-for-3 against the Buckeyes with a run and a walk ? had two hits and a walk during the Big Ten Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Graduated from CMR Russell High School ? batted .393 with seven home runs, 20 doubles and seven triples, while going 8-0 with 37 strikeouts and a 4.39 ERA for the Great Falls Stallions Legion program in 2009 ? batted .437 with 56 RBI and 24 extra-base hits in 2008 ? two-time All-State honoree in Legion play ? named All-State in football as a junior and All-Conference in his junior and senior seasons ? three-time Academic All-State honoree and was a four-year starter at goaltender at 'Midget AA'.
