2014-15 | SENIOR SEASON

2013-14 | JUNIOR SEASON
Posted career highs with 23 points, 14 goals and nine assists while playing in all 41 games for the Gophers in 2013-14 • Ambroz's 14 goals were tied for second most among the Gophers last season and doubled his career total to 28 • 10 of his 14 goals came at Mariucci Arena while his four empty-net goals were tied for second in the nation, one goal off the NCAA lead • scored in 19 of Minnesota's 41 games, team was 16-2-1 when he tallied a point • recorded four multi-point games in 2013-14 with the team winning all four games (Gophers are 11-0-0 all-time when Ambroz tallies more than one point in a game) • scored his first goal of the year in the season opener against Mercyhurst, a 6-0 Minnesota victory • had the game-winning goal and an assist in the Gophers' 6-1 win over Boston College b added two assists in a 6-1 win over Minnesota Duluth b tallied four goals (two in both games) as the Gophers swept Wisconsin at home in late November • Ambroz tallied two points (one goal, one assist) at the North Star College Cup and locked up the inaugural title for Minnesota with a shootout goal • picked up an assist in Minnesota's 7-3 win over Robert Morris to open the NCAA tournament and added an assist in the Gophers' 4-0 victory over St. Cloud State in the 2014 NCAA West Regional final • All-Big Ten Academic honoree • earned third letter.

Appeared in 38 games for the Gophers with 16 points, nine goals and seven assists • made his season debut in a 5-1 win over Michigan State, tallying an assist in the win • tied a career high with two goals in Minnesota's 3-2 win over Michigan Tech including the game winner • notched four multi-point games • tallied his fifth goal of the season and added an assist at Colorado College • posted the first goal of the game and added an assist against Alaska Anchorage • scored the game-winning goal in the third period at Wisconsin • Academic All-WCHA honoree • earned second letter.
2011-12 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Skated in 41 games with five goals and three assists • third on the team in penalties (21) and penalty minutes (53) • team was 5-0-0 when he recorded a point • made his collegiate debut against Sacred Heart (10/7) and had two third-period goals for his first points as a Gopher • had an assist and scored the first goal of the game with a power-play strike against Minnesota State • registered two points (one goal, one assist) at North Dakota • scored his fifth goal of the season against Bemidji State • earned first letter.
INTERNATIONAL
Won a gold medal with the United States at the 2010 World Junior A Challenge in Penticton, B.C. • was second on the team and tied for seventh in the tournament with five points in four games • was an assistant captain for the U.S. Under-18 Select Team at the 2010 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in Breclav, Czech Republic and Piestany, Slovakia • had three points in five games for second-place Team USA • skated for the first-place U.S. National Under-17 team at the 2009 Four Nations in Trnava, Slovakia • scored five goals in three games.

Spent three seasons with the Omaha Lancers of the USHL under head coach Bliss Littler • skated with Gophers Erik Haula, Justin Holl and Ben Marshall • led Omaha in scoring with 46 points in 2010-11 • named a USHL All-Star in his final two seasons in the league • selected to the USHL All-Rookie Team in 2008-09 • played high school hockey for New Prague in his eighth grade and as a freshman • earned AP All-Minnesota honorable mention honors in 2008 • also played for Russell Stover Under-16 Midget AAA team.
