International: Scored one goal in three games for Team USA[apos]s Under-18 Select Team at the 2009 Ivan Hlinka Memorial in Piestany, Slovakia played in four games and recorded a shorthanded goal for the second-place U.S. Under-17 Select Team at the 2008 Five Nations Tournament in Prievidza, Slovakia.
High School: Played for the Omaha Lancers of the USHL under head coach Bliss Littler in 2010-11 was a teammate of fellow Gopher freshman Seth Ambroz led Omaha defensemen in scoring with 33 points selected to the All-USHL Second Team, USHL All-Rookie Team, and USHL Western Conference Midseason All-Star team USHL CCM Defensive Player of the Week for the weeks of 12/6 and 3/7 played high school hockey for Mahtomedi under Jeff Poeschl led Zephyrs to two Class A State Tournament appearances earned first team all-state honors in 2010 received honorable mention for the AP Minnesota High School Hockey All-State Team in 2009 two-time All-Classic Suburban conference selection drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the seventh round (201st overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft played football for Mahtomedi.
