CAREER NOTES AND HONORS
Skated for the Gophers during the 2015-16 season and helped the Gophers capture a fifth-straight regular-season conference championship • tallied 10 points (10 assists) in 36 games with Minnesota • Academic All-Big Ten (2016) • one-year letter winner • co-recipient of the Dr. V. George Nagobads Unsung Hero Award • recorded 29 points (six goals, 23 assists) in 106 career games (played two years at Nebraska Omaha, sat out the 2014-15 season due to NCAA transfer rules) • signed an entry-level contract with the Minnesota Wild on March 26, 2016 -- foregoing his senior season with Minnesota.

2015-16 | JUNIOR SEASON
Skated in 36 games for the Gophers • recorded a career-high 10 assists and tied a career high with 10 points • led the team with a plus-21 rating as well as 91 blocked shots • tallied his first point (an assist) with the Gophers in a win over Northeastern on Oct. 24, 2015 • notched a pair of two-point games -- both Minnesota victories • co-recipient of the Dr. V. George Nagobads Unsung Hero Award • Academic All-Big Ten honoree • earned first letter. 
 

2014-15 | REDSHIRT SEASON

Redshirted the 2014-15 season due to NCAA transfer rules.

2013-14 | SOPHOMORE SEASON (UNO)
Skated in 36 games for Nebraska Omaha with 10 points (four goals, six assists) • scored a goal in the season opener against Bentley • scored a power-play goal against Minnesota Duluth • scored a goal and was plus-four against St. Cloud State • scored his first career short-handed goal against Denver • named to the NCHC Academic All-Conference Team.

2012-13 | FRESHMAN SEASON (UNO)
Skated in 34 games as a freshman for Nebraska Omaha • tallied nine points (two goals, seven assists) • had a goal and an assist and finished plus-four in his collegiate debut against Army • had a power-play goal against Alabama-Huntsville • had two assists in an exhibition game against the U.S. Under-18 Team.

JUNIORS/HIGH SCHOOL
Split time between Muskegon and Des Moines of the United States Hockey League in 2011-12 • had two goals and 13 assists for 15 points in 32 games at Muskegon before being traded to Des Moines where he finished with two goals and 11 assists in 26 games • was a member of the 2011-12 USHL All-Rookie Team • helped Eden Prairie High School win the 2009 and 2011 Minnesota Class AA State Championships • as a senior in 2010-11, was a first team all-state pick and an all-metro first team choice as well as All-Lake Conference and a member of the all-tournament team in the state tournament where he led all defensemen with six points in three games • skated with Gopher teammates Kyle Rau and Mitch Rogge, as well as Gophers alum Nick Leddy, at Eden Prairie.

PERSONAL
Born June 3, 1993 • son of Dan and Kris Seeler • has two sisters, Ashley and Kelly • dad played soccer and hockey at the College of St. Scholastica  one sister, Ashley, played soccer at Minnesota and other sister, Kelly, was a four-year letterwinner and a member of Minnesota's national championship hockey team in 2012  • drafted 131st overall (fifth round) by the Minnesota Wild in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
