Two Gophers Set to Compete at ITA All-American Championship

MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota tennis program will have two individuals competing in the 2026 ITA All-American Championships as they open the 2026 fall season. Jeselle Ante and Massiva Boukirat each earned spots in the singles draw, which runs Sept. 19-27 in Cary, N.C.

Ante and Boukirat are scheduled to open play in the pre-qualifying rounds on Saturday, Sept. 19. Matches starting at 8 a.m. CT. Should the Gopher individuals advance, they will compete in the qualifying rounds Sept. 21–22. The main draw begins Sept. 23 and continues through Sept. 27.

Elite Company
Last season the Gophers sent Anali Kocevar, Ava Schmitz and Mia Liepert to compete in the ITA All-American Championship. They were the first Gophers to compete at the ITA All-American Championships since 2015, when Minnesota sent Caroline Ryba, Julia Courter and Paula Rincon-Otero.

Next On The Docket
Following the ITA All-American Championships, Minnesota will split competition between the Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Neb., and at the annual Gopher Invitational at Baseline Tennis Center.
