Minnesota to Host Two Open Practices For Fans During Training Camp

Practices on August 7 and August 20 will be open to the public
The University of Minnesota football team begins training camp this week for the 2026 season. During the next month, the Gophers will have two open practices for fans to see the team before the season begins on Thursday, Sept. 3 against Eastern Illinois.
Open Practices
August 7 – 10:30 a.m. at Athletes Village
August 20 – 5:30 p.m. at Huntington Bank Stadium (additional details will be shared in the future)
In addition to Eastern Illinois, the Gophers host Mississippi State, Akron, Michigan, Iowa, UCLA and Northwestern this season. Tickets are available at GopherSports.com/tickets.
