Gophers Announce 2026 Fall Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS – University of Minnesota softball head coach Gretta Melsted announced the Gophers' 2026 fall schedule, which features seven opportunities for fans to see Minnesota in action at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium. Admission to all games is free.
Minnesota opens the fall season against St. Cloud State on Friday, Sept. 25 at 5:00 p.m. The Gophers will then welcome back former players for the annual Alumni Game on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 12:00 p.m., before wrapping up the weekend against Concordia-St. Paul on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 3:00 p.m.
The following weekend, Minnesota will host Winona State on Friday, Oct. 2 at 6:00 p.m. before facing Iowa State on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 10:30 a.m. and North Dakota State at 3:30 p.m.
The Gophers will close out their fall slate against North Iowa Area Community College on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 1:00 p.m.
