Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota soccer team announced its 2026 opponents, dates, and times for the upcoming season.
Led by sixth-year head coach Erin Chastain, the Golden Gophers will face opponents from three Power conferences, the defending Big Ten Tournament champion (Washington), and 10 NCAA Tournament participants during the regular season.
The 2026 season kicks off with exhibition matches on the road at Iowa State (Aug. 5) and against South Dakota State (Aug. 8) at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium.
Minnesota will open the regular season at home against North Dakota (Aug. 13) and Georgia (Aug. 16). The Gophers will then hit the road for a pair of matches against North Dakota State in Fargo, N.D. (Aug. 20), and BYU in Provo, Utah (Aug. 27).
The Maroon and Gold will return home to take on St. Thomas (Aug. 30) and Colorado College (Sept. 6) to round out the nonconference season.
Minnesota's home Big Ten schedule features Iowa (Sept. 10), Northwestern (Sept. 20), Maryland (Oct. 2), Ohio State (Oct. 11), Washington (Oct. 22), and Oregon (Oct. 25).
The Gophers will hit the road for conference matches against Penn State (Sept. 13), Indiana (Sept. 24), Purdue (Sept. 27), Michigan State (Oct. 8), Wisconsin (Oct. 18), and Illinois (Oct. 30).
