Minnesota Falls 8-0 to Kentucky on Sunday

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Minnesota Golden Gophers were not able to record a run against Kentucky freshman pitcher Hailey Nutter on Sunday and were shut out 8-0 by the Wildcats.
Macy Richardson (0-2) started and took the loss in the circle for Minnesota (1-4).
Natalie Susa was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going two innings, surrendering one run on one hit.
At the plate, the Golden Gophers were led by Tinley Easton, who went 1-for-2 on the day.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Minnesota did not advance a runner past second base in the game. The Golden Gophers went 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position, last placing a runner as far as second in the fifth, when Jae Cosgriff made it into scoring position with nobody out.
