ROSEMONT, Ill. - Jack Crousore, Cormac Sharpe, and Chun-Ta Wu from the University of Minnesota were named Big Ten Conference Men's Golfers to Watch for 2025-26 it was Wednesday.
Crousore returns to Dinkytown for his sophomore campaign after having the Golden Gophers' fourth-best scoring average a season ago. The Bluffton, S.C., native averaged a 73.4 across 33 rounds and fired eight rounds under par, including a pair of season-low scores of 66. He closed his freshman season by earning a top-10 finish at the 2025 B1G Championship.
Entering the 2025-26 season, Sharpe is one of two seniors on the Minnesota roster and brings a veteran presence to the program. The Blairgowrie, Scotland, product had a scoring average of 73.11 in 27 rounds in 2024-25, which ranked third on the team. He carded a low round of 4-under-par 68 at the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate before placing 23rd overall at the B1G Championship to finish the campaign.
Thanks to a team-leading 12 rounds under par as a freshman a year ago, Wu finished the season second on the team with a 72.9 scoring average. The native of New South Wales, Australia, placed inside the top 20 three times in 11 events for the Maroon and Gold and fired his lowest round of the year during the fall behind a 7-under-par 64 to close the Alister MacKenzie Invitational.
Minnesota, under the direction of seventh-year head coach Justin Smith, begins the 2025-26 campaign in less than two weeks when it hosts the Gopher Invitational at Windsong Farm Golf Club Sept. 7-8.
