The Big Ten Sportsmanship Award is the first postseason honor earned by Martin
MINNEAPOLIS - University of Minnesota goalkeeper Sarah Martin was honored by the Big Ten Conference on Tuesday afternoon.
The redshirt sophomore was named Minnesota's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree. She was one of 17 student-athletes selected for the recognition.
The Champlin, Minnesota, native ended the 2025 season with 92 saves, ranking second in the conference, and a 79.3 save percentage.
Martin earned Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Week honors on Oct. 14 after recording 18 saves against USC and No. 9 UCLA, marking the highest two-game total of her collegiate career. Against the Bruins, she posted a career-high 12 saves, the second most by any goalkeeper in the Big Ten this season.
