Minnesota Falls to Indiana

Bloomington, Ind. - The University of Minnesota fell in the final game of a three-game series 4-0 to Indiana Sunday.
The Gophers are now 21-10 overall and 7-2 in the Big Ten. This is the first conference series loss for the Maroon and Gold.
Toby Anderson started on the mound and threw 6.1 innings. The senior struck out three batters while allowing four earned on eight hits. Anderson picked up the loss and is now 4-3 on the season.
Reggie Meyer took over for Anderson and pitched 0.2 inning where he didn't allow a hit. Brian Glowicki finished off the game throwing the final 1.0 inning. He struck out one batter and allowed one hit.
Jordan Kozicky was 2-3 with a walk and a double. With the two hits to begin the game, Kozicky had seven straight hits following Saturday's game. The redshirt freshman had a .615 batting average (8-13), one home run, three RBIs and scored three runs in the series.
Micah Coffey and Cole McDevitt had the other two hits for the Gophers. Coffey was 7-14 in the series with two doubles and four RBIs while McDevitt drove in two runs.

Minnesota will host South Dakota State for a midweek non-conference game Tuesday with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m. before hosting Nebraska for a three-game series.
