2024 Outdoor Track & Field • Senior Season: Earned Academic All-Big Ten honors for work in the classroom... Reached the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the first time, earning her way with the 4x100m relay team... Finished 23rd at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 4x100m relay, earning Honorable Mention All-America status with a time of 44.33... Reached the NCAA Outdoor Championships by finishing 11th at the NCAA West Regional, the No. 2 time in school history... Finished 24th and 33rd at the NCAA West Regional in the high jump and the long jump... Earned a Big Ten bronze medal with the 4x100m relay team as the anchor leg in a time of 44.39... Scored individually in the high jump with a leap of 1.70m (5-7) to finish sixth and assisting the Gophers team championship, their first outdoors since 2018... Went beyond six meters in the long jump four times during the outdoor season, highlighted by a the 6.40m (21-0) jump at the Desert Heat Classic in Arizona, putting her at No. 4 in school history... Was second in the long jump at the 44 Farms Team Invitational with a leap of 6.06m (19-10 3/4)... Opened the outdoor season with a victory at the Hurricane Invitational in the long jump with a mark of 6.17m (20-3) and also was second in the high jump with a clearance of 1.77m (5-9 3/4).
2024 Indoor Track & Field • Senior Season: Competed in six meets indoors for the Maroon and Gold... Eclipsed six meters in the long jump for the first time since May of 2022 with a 6.17m (20-3) leap at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invite to finish second and move to No. 4 in school history indoors... Reached 1.80m once during the indoor season in the high jump, also at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invite, finishing second... Scored in the women's high jump at the Big Ten Indoor Championships, finishing fifth with a leap of 1.77m (5-9 3/4)... Finished 13th in the long jump at the Big Ten Indoor Championships with a mark of 5.92m (19-5 1/4).
2023 Outdoor Track & Field - Junior Season: Only competed at the Running on Hope Invitational during the outdoor season… Placed in second during her high-jump event with a mark of 1.69m (5’ 6.5”)... Had no mark due to a foul in her long-jump event
2023 Indoor Track & Field - Junior Season: Finished with eighth-place marks of 1.74m (5’ 8.5”) in the high-jump and 5.95m (19’ 6.25”) in the long-jump during the Big Ten Indoor Championships… Recorded two first-place finishes in long-jump with marks at 5.94m (19’ 6”) at the 2023 Meyo Invitational (ND IND TF) and 5.91m (19’ 4.75”) at the Jack Johnson Classic. She recorded the mark of 5.91m (19’ 4.75”) again for third place at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational… Finished with a second-place mark of 1.81m (5’ 11.25”) in high-jump at the Jack Johnson Classic… Clinched a third-place mark of 1.74m (5’ 8.5”) at the Cyclone Open along with a first-place mark of 1.75m (5’ 8.75”) at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational during her other high-jump events.
PRIOR TO MINNESOTA:
A NJCAA national champion comes to the Maroon and Gold once again by way of Jamaica with Alliyah McNeil. McNeil blossomed on the big-stage back in May winning the national championship in the high jump with a personal best mark of 1.82m (5-11 1/2) and also finished as the national runner-up in the long jump with a personal best wind-legal mark of 6.45m (21-2). McNeil, who spent two seasons at Iowa Western CC, helped her team win back-to-back national outdoor team championships and won three championships herself between indoor and outdoor in those two years.
