- Became a two-time All-American by finishing eighth as the No. 6 seed in 2025
- Earned All-America honors at 141 pounds as the No. 26 seed in 2024, finishing in eighth place
- VomBaur was the lowest seeded Gopher to become an All-American since David Thorn finished seventh at 125 pounds in 2013 after being unseeded (full seeding started in 2019)

- Made first career start in home opener vs. Binghamton, falling to Nate Lucier by 9-7 decision
- Placed 2nd at Bison Open to begin the year, with only loss to fellow Gopher teammate and third-ranked Jake Bergeland in the finals
