2019 - JUNIOR SEASON:
Saw action in 49 sets and contributed 89 kills in 214 attempts to hit .332 • made her Minnesota debut in the win over North Carolina • added her first kill of her Minnesota career against Florida State • saw action against Rutgers • had 12 kills and six blocks against Northwestern and Illinois • saw action against Michigan State • had eight kills, hit .438 and three blocks in the win over Ohio State • had eight kills and hit .333 in the road Purdue win • produced 11 kills and hit .450 against Ohio State • had 12 kills against Wisconsin • started in the Rutgers match and hit .524 and had 13 kills.
PRIOR TO MINNESOTA:
Joins the Gopher program after spending two seasons at College of Southern Idaho • with the Eagles, led the team to a 2018 NJCAA championship and a runner-up finish in 2017 • 2018 NJCAA Division I Volleyball Championship Tournament MVP • in her sophomore season, averaged 4.28 kills per set, hit .302 and averaged 2.86 digs per set • was named the 2018 NJCAA Division I Player of the Year and the AVCA Two-Year College Player of the Year, the first ever in school history • NJCAA Division I Volleyball First Team All-America • AVCA Two-Year College First Team All-America • was a part of the Japanese National Team from 2015-16, where she competed at the 2015 World Grand Prix • in 2014, was a part of the Youth National Team, where she was named the Asia MVP • also named to Team CORE, a group selected to play with Japan in preparation for the 2020 Olympic team.
