2024 Outdoor Track & Field • Grad Season: Competed in six meets with the Golden Gophers during her lone season in Minneapolis... Finished 21st at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in the 400m, clocking a 56.63... Ran on the 4x400m relay and 4x100m relay during the outdoor season... Ran a season-best 55.36 at the LSU Alumni Gold, which was good enough for 20th.
PRIOR TO MINNESOTA
A 2023 NCAA qualifier at UC Santa Barbara Mariana Lanz joins the Maroon and Gold after spending most of her track and field career exclusively in California... Lanz broke through for her first NCAA qualifying mark back in March when she won the 2023 Beach Opener with a leap of 12.57m (41-3)... She also has posted quality performances in the 400m in her career, holding a lifetime best time of 55.20.
