2025-26 | FRESHMAN
• Raced in four of the Gophers' regattas during her first year on campus
• Ended the year by placing third with the 4V8 in the opening heat at the 2026 Big Ten Conference Championships (May 15)
• Put together a dominating effort at Lake Phalen during the Twin Cities 2K (May 2) as the 4V8 boat picked up victories in both the heats and finals
• Raced with the 4V8 in the final session of the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 19) and turned in a fourth-place finish
• Opened the spring season at the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 18) and finished fourth in the first session before adding a third-place effort in session two on the 3V8
• Made her collegiate rowing debut by earning a runner-up finish as part of the 2N8 crew at the season-opening Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 4)
HIGH SCHOOL
• Graduated from Northville High School in 2025
• Picked up Michigan State Championships in 2023, 2024, and 2025
• Won the 4x at SRAA Nationals in 2023 before placing fifth in 2024
• Raced to fifth place at Youth Nationals in the 4x (2024) and the 4- (2025)
• Claimed a title in the 4x during the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta and placed third at the Head of the Hooch in 2023
• Finished first in the 2024 Midwest Championship 4x before picking up another victory in the 4- in 2025
• Placed second in the 4x during the Midwest Championship in 2025 after previously racing to second in the 2x in 2023
• Selected as Northville's 2024 Teammate of the Year
• Was a high school teammate of current Gophers' rower Radhika Ajmera
• Maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average all through high school
• Landed on the Midwest Scholastic Rowing Association Academic Honor Roll in 2024
• Earned the Northville Academic Excellence Award each year from 2021 to 2025

• Daughter of Elke Truyens and Danny Grobben
• Has an older brother, Seppe, and a younger brother, Niels
• Enjoys reading, cooking, watching reality TV, and hanging out with friends in her free time
• Has lived on four different continents in her lifetime
• Chose the University of Minnesota because "I wanted a big school with lots of academic and athletic opportunities near a big city and UMN has two cities"
