2025-26 | FRESHMAN
• Raced in four of the Gophers' regattas during her first year on campus
• Closed the season at the 2026 Big Ten Championships (May 15 & 17), helping the 3V8 to a runner-up finish in the Petite Finals following a fourth-place performance in the opening heats
• Placed second in both the heats and finals as part of the 3V8 crew at the Twin Cities 2K (May 2) on Lake Phalen
• Raced with the 3V8 across three sessions at the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 18-19) in Sacramento, securing a third-place finish on Saturday afternoon to go with two fourth-place efforts
• Made her collegiate rowing debut by earning a runner-up finish as part of the 2N8 crew at the season-opening Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 4)
HIGH SCHOOL
• Competed with the Mendota Rowing Club from 2022-24 before joining the Camp Randall Rowing Club for 2024-25
• Won the Women's Junior Varsity 8+ at the Wisco Chase in the fall of 2024
• Turned in a winning effort during the Mixed Junior 2x at the 2024 Iowa Chase, while also placing second in the Women's Junior Varsity 4x and third in the Women's Junior Varsity 2x
• Raced to second during the Chicago Sprints Women's Junior Varsity 4x in the summer of 2024
• Placed fourth at the 2023 Head of the Rock in the Women's Junior Varsity 2x race
• Graduated with high honors from Vel Phillips Memorial High School in 2025
• Also a graduate of Madison College's Early College STEM Academy
• Named to the Madison College Dean's List with Distinction in Fall 2023, Spring 2024, Fall 2024, and Spring 2025
• Took college courses full time during her junior and senior years of high school
PERSONAL
• Daughter of Jon and Jess Storey
• Enjoys playing instruments (piano, bass, guitar, drums), listening to music, hiking, and being outdoors in her spare time
• Also likes to cook, bake, read, and do puzzles
• Earned a black belt in karate
• Once encountered a black bear in the wild while camping in the Boundary Waters
• Was a high school classmate of fellow Gopher newcomer Megan Hansen
• Chose the University of Minnesota because "the more I learned about the 'U' the more I fell in love with it and was able to picture myself here. Minnesota provides so many incredible opportunities for academic, athletic, and personal growth through its top-notch programs and supportive community."
