2025-26 | FRESHMAN
• Logged time as a coxswain at four of the Gophers' regattas in her first year of collegiate rowing
• Wrapped up the season at the 2026 Big Ten Rowing Championships (May 15 & 17), helping the 3V8 crew secure a runner-up finish in the Petite Finals after placing fourth in the heats
• Earned a pair of second-place finishes at the Twin Cities 2K (May 2), crossing the line second in both the heats and the finals with the 3V8 boat
• Guided the 3V8 crew across three sessions at the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 18-19) in Sacramento, securing a third-place finish on Saturday afternoon to complement two fourth-place efforts
• Kicked off the year with a runner-up performance on the 2N8 at the Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 4)
HIGH SCHOOL
• Competed with the Twin Cities Youth Rowing club and served as a team captain
• Placed 27th in the country at the 2025 Youth Nationals in the Women's 4+
• Turned in an 18th-place effort out of 90 boats during the 2024 Head of the Hooch in the Youth Women's 8+
• Graduated from Wayzata High School in 2025
• Given the Presidential Volunteer Service Award and the United Nations Association Merit Award
• Was a College Board AP Scholar with Distinction and AP Scholar with Honor
PERSONAL
• Daughter of Jason and Nancy Bixby
• Has two older sisters, Anna and Elsa (both of whom were born before the movie Frozen)
• Sister, Elsa, was a rower at Notre Dame from 2020-24
• Was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at four years old
• A club teammate of Gopher newcomers Addie Botts and Amelia Grunig
• Enjoys exploring new places, doing art, reading, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering in her spare time
• Has played the piano for more than 10 years
• Loves David Attenborough, the British nature documentary broadcaster and naturalist, and has watched almost all his documentaries
• Chose the University of Minnesota because "it has great academics, resources, and programs that fit my criteria when looking for a school. Attending the UofM also gave me the opportunity to cox for the rowing team."
