Bio
2024-25 | FRESHMAN
• Competed in four regattas in her first season with the Gophers
• Ended the year by winning the 2N8 Petite Finals at the Big Ten Conference Championships (May 18) after placing fourth in the heats to begin the competition (May 17)
• Closed the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 18-19) in Sarasota, Fla., with a win on the 2N8 boat after finishing third in the regatta's opening two sessions
• Picked up a 2N8 victory over Iowa and Kansas on day one of the Big 12/Big Ten Double Duel (Apr. 11-12) before placing second on the final day
• Made her collegiate debut as part of the 2N8 crew that placed second in the Collegiate Freshman 8+ race at the season-opening Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 5)
PERSONAL
• Daughter of James and Stephanie Pertzborn
• Has an older sister, Jordan, and a younger brother, Michael
• Grandfather, Mike Von Stein, played college football at Bowling Green from 1968-72
• Graduated summa cum laude from DeForest Area High School in 2024 with a perfect 4.0 grade point average
• Was a three-sport student-athlete with the Norskies, earning four letters in swimming, one in basketball, and one in track and field
• Served as a swimming team captain for DFHS in 2022 and 2023 and given the Spirit Award in 2023
• Was a state swimming qualifier in 2021 and 2023
• Named to the All-Badger North Conference Team in swimming three times between 2022-24
• Named to the WBCA Academic All-State Team
• Was a member and officer of the National Honor Society
• Given the AP Scholar Award and landed on the High Honor Roll
• Is passionate about history, politics, religion, and loves doing crossword puzzles
• Chose to attend the University of Minnesota "for most importantly, the many opportunities for career and personal development through the business school and surrounding city along with the incredible opportunity provided to me to be a Gopher student-athlete"
