Bio
2024-25 | FRESHMAN
• Competed in four regattas in her first season with the Gophers
• Ended the year by winning the 2N8 Petite Finals at the Big Ten Conference Championships (May 18) after placing fourth in the heats to begin the competition (May 17)
• Raced three times at the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 18-19) in Sarasota, Fla., placing third in both sessions with the 2N8 on day one before another third-place effort with the 1N8 on Saturday
• Claimed a race win against Iowa and Kansas with the 1N8 boat to begin the Big 12/Big Ten Double Duel (Apr. 11-12) before finishing second on day two
• Made her collegiate debut as part of the 1N8 crew at the season-opening Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 5) and finished first in the Collegiate Freshman 8+ race
PERSONAL
• Daughter of Kip and Libby Schick
• Has an older sister, Natalie, who is currently on the swimming team at Rutgers
• Uncle, David Schick, was on the swimming team at UNLV from 1999-2002
• Graduated from Madison West High School in 2024
• Earned four varsity letters on the Regents' swimming team for head coach Amanda Ellmaker
• Named to the Wisconsin All-State Swim Team as a senior in 2024
• Competed with the Badger Aquatics Club and the Shorewood Hills Swim and Dive summer league team
• Earned the Seal of Biliteracy for Spanish from the state of Wisconsin
• Landed on the Honor Roll all four years of her prep career
• Chose to attend the University of Minnesota "for its strong and diverse set of academic programs that will allow me to explore and discover my interests and passions"
