2024-25 | FRESHMAN
• Competed in four regattas in her first season with the Gophers
• Closed the campaign by placing sixth in the 1N8 Grand Finals at the Big Ten Conference Championships (May 18) after finishing third in the opening-day heats (May 17)
• Raced three times on the 1N8 boat during the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 18-19) in Sarasota, Fla., placing fifth, fourth, and third
• Picked up a 1N8 victory over Iowa and Kansas on day one of the Big 12/Big Ten Double Duel (Apr. 11-12) before placing second on the final day
• Made her collegiate debut as part of the 2N8 crew that placed second in the Collegiate Freshman 8+ race at the season-opening Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 5)

PERSONAL
• Daughter of Dan and Lisa Herstad
• Has an older brother, Jacob
• Graduated from Hermantown High School in 2023
• Competed as a four-sport student-athlete with the Hawks, earning five varsity letters in track and field, four in soccer, three in basketball, and two in cross country
• Landed on the soccer all-section team as a senior
• Named to the All-Lake Superior Conference Team in track and field during the 2022 and 2023 seasons, while also with soccer in 2022
• Helped the Hawks win a basketball section title in 2021
• Was a runner up in the shot put at sections in both 2022 and 2023
• Won a soccer state championship with the Gitchi Gammi Soccer Club in 2022
• Was a high school classmate of Gopher teammates Emilie Rish and Addie Peterson
• Earned a spot on the Honor Roll all four years of her prep career
• Participated in Student Council and was a member of the National Honor Society
• Took a gap year after high school to travel and ended up spending time in five different countries across three continents
• Enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors with the people she loves in her free time
• Chose to attend the University of Minnesota because "I truly have pride in the state of Minnesota as a whole, and I wanted to represent that both academically and athletically. I also love the city of Minneapolis for the location, the resources, and the community that it provides."
