2024-25 | FRESHMAN
Big Ten Boat of the Week (First Varsity Four - April 15)
• Served as a coxswain during five regattas for the Gophers in her first campaign
• Ended her first collegiate season with a fifth-place effort on the 1V4 crew at the Big Ten Conference Championships Grand Finals (May 18), Minnesota's highest result at the event, after racing to third in the heats
• Secured a second-place finish with the 1V4 boat to end the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 19)
• Picked up a race victory during the opening day of the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 18) following a third-place result to begin the regatta
• Earned Big Ten Conference Boat of the Week honors after defeating both San Diego and Kansas at the Big 12/Big Ten Double Duel (Apr. 11-12) as part of the 1V4 crew
• Turned in a third-place effort on day one of the Rocky Top Invitational (Apr. 4) with the 2V4 boat before placing second during the final day of competition (Apr. 5)
• Made her collegiate debut at the Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 5) and placed third leading the 3V8 crew
• Awarded first varsity letter

• Daughter of John Maiorino and Petra Kuret
• Has an older brother, Gabe
• Competed for Canada's Junior National Team as part of the women's coxed four at the 2024 World Rowing U19 Championships that took place in her home country in August
• Graduated from Brentwood College School in 2024
• Earned Athletic honors each year from 2021 to 2024 and competed in the Canadian Secondary School Rowing Association
• Won two gold medals with Brentwood in the U17 8+ and 4+ at the 2022 CSSRA Nationals
• Claimed a CSSRA Nationals title in the U19 4+ and placed third on the 8+ in 2023
• Finished first with the U19 lightweight 4+ boat at the 2024 CSSRA Nationals and added a second-place result on the 8+ crew and was third with the 4+
• Also played volleyball during her prep career
• Chose to attend the University of Minnesota because it "meant that I was not just a number, but I was a person; the coaching staff and athletes all really care and that meant a lot to me"
