2025-26 | FRESHMAN
• Took to the water for one regatta during her first season with Minnesota rowing
• Earned a runner-up finish as part of the 2N8 crew at the season-opening Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 4)
HIGH SCHOOL
• Competed with the Twin Cities Youth Rowing club from 2022-25
• Served as a team captain for the Twin Cities Youth Rowing club from 2024-25
• Participated in the Head of the Charles in both 2023 and 2024 as well as the Head of the Hooch in 2024
• Graduated from Edina High School in 2025
• Was an Edina Scholar and Edina Scholar Athlete
• Received AP Scholar with Distinction honors in 2024 and 2025
• Earned the Minnesota Platinum Bilingual Seal in French
• Given a Superior rating by the Minnesota State High School League for her Euphonium solo
PERSONAL
• Daughter of Steven and Jennea Botts
• Has a younger brother, Drew
• Is a 3rd generation Golden Gopher
• A club teammate of Gopher newcomers Katherine Bixby and Amelia Grunig
• Can play the Euphonium and enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, being a foodie, and volunteering in her free time
• Previously went to a French immersion school and is fluent in French
• First concert ever attended was going to see One Direction at Huntington Bank Stadium
• Chose the University of Minnesota "for its reputation as a top research institution, its diverse student population, and for its athletic programs where I can succeed on and off the water"
